Goodall offers a wide range of custom options, including wood choices, fingerboard inlay, and body binding. For models constructed with maple, Macassar ebony, quilted mahogany, or Brazilian rosewood back and sides (all with Master Grade tops), please call James Goodall for a price request. Here are some of the most common options.
The following prices and descriptions apply to the following models: Parlor (14 in. bout, 25 in. scale), Grand Concert (15 in. bout), Concert Jumbo (15.875 in. bout), Standard (16 in. bout), and Jumbo (17 in. bout) Series. These guitars feature: Alaskan Sitka spruce top, round soundhole, abalone rosette, ebony binding, 14/20-fret ebony fingerboard with abalone dot inlays, ebony bridge with black white dot pins, three-per-side chrome Schaller tuners, available in Natural finish (with satin finish neck), current mfg. Prices are $3,900 for mahogany back and sides with rosewood or maple binding, $3,900 for East Indian Rosewood back and sides, with curly koa binding, $4,500 for curly koa back/sides with rosewood or curly maple binding, $4,300 for curly maple back and sides with rosewood or curly koa binding, and $4,300 for curly walnut back and sides with curly maple binding. Add $200 for the Jumbo. Add $600 for the Jumbo Baritone.
The Royal Hawaiian has curly top/back/sides, pearl rosette with island scene fb inlay, ebony fretboard and bridge, and peghead venner, gold Schaller tuners with ebony buttons, purpleheard wood bindings, 1.75 in. satin finish neck, 25.5 in. scale, and comes in Natural finish. The Royal Hawaiian is available as the Grand Concert, Concert Jumbo, or Standard for a retail price of $7,300 and as a Jumbo for $7,500.
The Traditional OM and Dreadnought models feature: mahogany or East Indian rosewood back and sides, herringbone rosette and top purfling, chevron marketry backstrip, MOP notched square fretboard inlay, ebony peghead, tortise pickguard, nickel Waverly tuners with ivoroid knobs, 1.75 in. or 1.69 in. neck width, 25.5 in. scale, and maple binding. These guitars retail for $4,400 with a bear claw Sitka spruce top, and $4,900 for an Adirondack spruce top. Add $400 for baritone configuration.
The Aloha model features a solid Sitka spruce top, koa or mahogany back & sides, pheasant wood fretboard & bridge, koa peghead veneer, pearl inlay with MOP dots, chrome Gotoh tuners, 25.5 in. scale, and black wood fiber binding. This guitar is available in Standard, Concert Jumbo, or Grand Concert sizes, retails for $2,995, and comes with a plush hard shell case in the price. The Jumbo size model is $3,195.
The Pacific model features a master red cedar top, AAA curly maple back and sides, dark curly koa B/N/H binding, fancy abalone rosette, MOP notched square fingerboard and bridge inlays, and a curly maple headstock veneer with gold tuners with ebony buttons. This guitar is available in Parlor (25 in. scale) or Grand Concert (25.5 in. scale) sizes and retails for $5,900.
The Crossover Nylon String model features a red cedar or Port Orford white cedar top, AAA East Indian rosewood or Palo Escrito back and sides, radial cut padauk wood rosette, no fingerboard inlays, an ebony slotted headstock with precision ebony tuners, and a clear pickguard. This guitar has a 14-fret neck, 25.5 in. scale, and retails for $5,900.
