ACOUSTIC: F SERIES
The F-Series were introduced in 1969. The F-Series replaced the initial acoustic line and were discontinued sometime after 1980. The first initial models were the F-1000, F-1010, F-1030, F-1040, F-1050, F-1060, and F-1070-12. These models were priced between $33 and $197. Secondhand market prices on these guitars are around $50 - 100. The F-3 and F-5 models (1980-81 mfg.) are budget instruments that bring about $30 - 50 today. These era of guitars can be distinguished by their notched headstock. The FC-Series was introduced about the same time and included classical models.
Another F-Series was introduced in the early 1980s and are known as the Standard Series. See the Standard Series for more information.
