Luthier Dan DeMars builds hand-crafted acoustic and solidbody acoustic guitars in his Norwich, VT shop as well as a line of electric instruments. DeMars has played guitar since the 1970s, worked for Ned Steinberger and, was the head of marketing, advertising, and artist relations for Ned's company NS Design. DeMars' guitars include the Viridis chambered solidbody acoustic (MSR $3,400) and the Long Trail Bass available in four-string (MSR $3,300) and five-string (MSR $3,600) configurations.
