DIASONIC | Instruments previously produced in Japan, unknown production dates. | It is estimated that Diasonic instruments were constructed in the 1970s, as their headstock design skirts infringe on Gibson's standard design. The Diasonic folk style acoustic has a spruce top, geometric pattern rosette, nato back and sides, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with rectangular pearloid inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, adjustable saddle, white bridge pins, and tortoise pickguard. Diasonic instruments in average condition command between $100 and $150. Source: Walter Murray, Frankenstein Fretworks. | |
