Dell'Arte guitars have been produced since 1997. | | Jazz guitarist, Alain Cola, started Dell' Arte Instruments in 1997, and the first line of Maccaferri style guitars were built in Mexico. Luthier John Kinnard started a small repair/retail store in 1996 called Finegold Guitars and Mandolins, and in 1998, Alain Cola met Kinnard and forms a partnership. Dell'Arte Instruments still specializes in Maccaferri-style guitars that are endorsed by performers worldwide. In 2001, Dell'Arte strings were introduced.
