 DOBRO | | ACOUSTIC: CALIFORNIA MADE MODELS 1929-1939 | | Not only do Dobro guitars not have a model number, but models were often inconsistent. To determine your model of Dobro, you have to read through the model descriptions in order to match it up with the correct number. Woods and other pieces are known to be inconsistent as well. There are also overlapping models where a California model was made and at the same time a Regal model was introduced with the same number designation. | | MODEL 36 | | - magnolia body, mahogany round neck, macawood fingerboard, silver painted hardware, available in Black finish, mfg. 1932-34. |
