 DEAR | | ACOUSTIC | The three Dear acoustic/electric models have a cutaway body, on board preamp and bridge-mounted pickup system. The DAC-480E (last MSR was $299) has a round soundhole and spruce top. The DAC-485E (last MSR of $319) features similar construction with a highly flamed maple top. Instead of a round soundhole, the DAC-500E has a pair of f-holes.
In addition to the acoustic/electrics, Dear also offers two classical style/synthetic back models. The EL 1500 (last MSR of $439) has a cedar top and matte finish; the EL 2000 (last MSR of $459) has a spruce top. | |
