ACOUSTIC: SIGNATURE SERIES
De Cava has a new model, the Signature Blues. The Signature Blues model was designed in conjunction with blues guitarist Debbie Davis. The Signature models are lightweight, contemporary hand-carved hollow body archtops with all the sleek contours of a solid body. Signature Series models have a 15.25 in.body width, 2.25 in. body depth, either a single neck pickup (Jazz model) or double pickups (Blues model), tune-o-matic style bridge/ebony tailpiece, and Neo-Classic fingerboard. The retail price of $5,450 includes a durable gig bag. The Signature models are available with optional customer's signature inlaid in pearl, and fingerboard inlays. This model is available in seven-, eight-, or nine-string.
The Mark Elf Custom Classic is a guitar designed by and for Mark Elf. It has Grover Imperial tuners, one-piece neck, multi-bound body, neck and peghead, split-block fingerboard inlays, Adirondack spruce and other select woods used throughout, 17 in. body width, floating pickup, jack, voume and tone controls mounted on the pickguard. Sug. Retail is $8,700. The Mark Elf Neo Classic model is also available for $6,300.
The Auditorium Model begins at $3,000. It has Indian rosewood back and sides, Adirondack red spruce top, ebony fingerboard and bridge, gold plated tuners, other wood options.
A Ten String Classical guitar was introduced in 2004, as a signature model for Janet Marlow. This comes in the base Essence model for $2,450 or the NY Concert Model with higher appointments for $5,650.
