GENERAL INFORMATION
All De Cava archtop guitars share similar features such as a solid hand-carved Sitka or Adirondack spruce top, carved maple back with matching sides, ebony fingerboard, hinged ebony tailpiece, an adjustable bridge, ebony pickguard, ebony peghead overlays, and bound f-holes. De Cava offers his models in either a 16 in. or 17 in. body width, with parallel or X-bracing. Prices include a hard shell case. Banjos, Ukuleles, Mandolin, and Classical guitars are also available.
De Cava briefly offered the Classic model ($5,720), which featured a flame or quilted maple top, fancy scroll position markers on the fingerboard, a pearl nut, an engraved pearl truss rod cover, and hand-engraved inlay pieces on the peghead (front and back)/pickguard/tailpiece/heel. An 18 in. body width was available at no extra charge.
