D'ANGELICO GUITARS OF AMERICA ACOUSTIC D'Angelico produced a line of flattop acoustics in the 2000s, but as of 2004 they were discontinued. The NYA-2R has a rounded top and back, 16 in.body, solid spruce top with maple back/sides/neck, 21-fret fingerboard with pearl zig-zag position inlays, black New Yorker style pickguard, and is available in Natural Yellow, V-Blue, Natural, or Transparent Sunburst finish. The NYA-2 is similar to the NYA-2R except is a flattop and back, features elaborate binding, and last retailed for $3,950. D'Angelico also offered one archtop that is fully acoustic. This model is the New York Large Body Tear Drop (NYL-1). This model is based off the original and last retailed for $12,600.
