This bridge takes the strings of the guitar and moves them outward, away from the center. With the strings anchored farther away from the center and spaced apart, it puts less stress on the bridge itself. It is possible then to use the whole top of the guitar for strength. Century is now taking the bridge that they have used for several years and making their own brand of guitar out of it.
