CONTESSA
Instruments previously built in Italy between 1966 and the early 1970s. Distributed in the U.S. by M. Hohner, Inc. of Hicksville, NY.
The Contessa trademark covered a wide range of medium quality guitars and solid state amplifiers. The HG series (that possibly stands for Hohner Guitars) featured acoustic "Folk, Classical, and Country & Western" and original design solid body electrics.
