CONN
Instruments previously built in Japan between circa 1968 and 1978.
The U.S. distributor for Conn brand name instruments was Conn/Continental Music Company of Chicago, IL. The Conn trademark is perhaps more recognizable on their brass band instruments. Conn offered both classical models and six-string and twelve-string acoustic steel-string models, built by Aria and Company in Japan. Many models of student level to intermediate quality, and some feature a bolt-on neck instead of the usual standard. Source: Michael Wright, Guitar Stories, Volume One.
