CONQUEROR | ACOUSTIC | Conqueror models have a spruce top, round soundhole, geometric rosette (black, red, green, yellow pattern), nato back and sides, one-piece nato neck ("steel reinforced"), 12/19-fret laminated fingerboard (perhaps bubinga), nato bridge. The slotted headstock has three-per-side ivory-colored plastic tuners. The soundboard is stained redwood color, the back/sides/neck stained mahogany. They have a distinctive coat of arms and armor plastic ornament on the headstock, with the word "Conqueror" in Old English typeface. A similar crest can be found on the interior paper label inside the body, and a "Made in Japan" label on the back of the headstock. Conqueror acoustics in average condition are valued between $50 and $100. | |
