ACOUSTIC: STANDARD (AD/AF/AJ) SERIES
The Standard Series was introduced as a budget-line or entry level of Cort acoustic guitars. Circa 2002, the AJ models were changed to AD models.
AD 850/AJ 850
- dreadnought style, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahongany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, rosewood bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard, Natural Satin finish, mfg. 1998-present.
AD 850 CE Cutaway Electric
- similar to the AD 850, except has a single cutaway and Cort CE Series electronics, mfg. 2006-present.
AJ 860
- dreadnought style, spruce top, round soundhole, black pickguard, multiple black body/rosette binding, mahogany back/sides/neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, rosewood bridge with white pins, three-per-side chrome die-cast tuners, available in Natural Satin finish, disc. 1999.
AD 870/AJ 870
- dreadnought style, spruce top, mahogany back and sides or maple back and sides, mahongany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, rosewood bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard, available in Black (disc. 2007), Blue Burst (disc. 2007), Natural, or Sunburst (disc. 2007) finish, current mfg.
AD 870-12/AJ 870-12 12-String
- similar to the AJ 870, except in 12-string configuration and six-per-side tuners, available in Natural finish, current mfg.
AD 870-LH Left-Handed
- similar to the AD 870, except in left-handed configuration, available in Natural finish, mfg. 2006-present.
AJ 870 C
- similar to the AJ 870, except has a transducer pickup mounted in the bridge, disc. 1998.
AF 550
- grand concert style, spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahongany neck, 14/20-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot inlay, three-per-side chrome tuners, rosewood bridge, tortoiseshell pickguard, Natural Satin finish, mfg. 2000-present.
