BREEDLOVE
GENERAL INFORMATION
In 1997, Breedlove developed a new system that designates model description. This system consists of three parts: a letter (or letters) indicates the body shape:
The first number indicates body depth:
The second number indicates body cutaway style:
An optional 'X' following the model designation indicates traditional 'X-bracing.'
Breedlove offers the Extraordinary Experience. This is a once-in-a-lifetime experience where you sign up to tour the Breedlove Guitar Workshop and scenic Oregon area. During this time you spend time with a consultant who will learn about your playing style and they end up building a guitar for you. It is an experience where you tout the workshop and they build a guitar for you while you are touring. Contact Breedlove for more information.
In 2004, the standard models (C20, D20, etc.) became custom shop models. Instead of a standard production model with several options, the customer can order the guitar exactly the way he or she wants it. Most non-cutaway models start at $3,199 and cutaways start at $3,499. Contact Breedlove for a complete listing of options.
