ALBERICO, FABRIZIO
Guitars currently produced in Gibsons, British Columbia, Canada since 1998.
Luthier Fabrizio Alberico hand-builds acoustic guitars in his 700 square foot shop approximately twenty miles north of Vancouver. Alberico visited Jeff Traugott's shop looking for an ideal fingerstyle, and he was so inspired he decided to go into guitar building. After this, he took a five-week course from Sergei de Jonge who was an apprentice of Jean Larrivee (Larrivee Guitars). Although Alberico has always been a recreational woodworker, he has learned much in his years and has become a well-known builder. He offers about twelve guitars a year that are available as an OM, Grand Auditorium, and classical shape. Guitars start at $5,700. For more information, visit Alberico's website or contact him directly (see Trademark Index).
