ACOUSTIC ELECTRIC: SANDPIPER SERIES
The Sandpiper Series was introduced in 1998. Models feature solid spruce tops, arched backs, fine ornamentation, and Fishman electronics.
SANDPIPER SP-1 (SP-CST)
- folk style, single rounded cutaway body, solid spruce top, round soundhole, pearl rosette, pearl/ivory body binding, rosewood back/sides, mahogany neck, 21-fret rosewood ebony with pearl inlay, rosewood bridge with black pins, three-per-side gold tuners, Fishman Matrix Pro pickup, volume/brilliance/three-band EQ, phase switch, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1998-99, 2001-present.
SANDPIPER SP-2
- similar to the Sandpiper SP-1, except features inset soundhole mosaic, rosewood fingerboard, PZP-6 piezo pickup, volume/mid contour/three-band EQ, PR-500 electronics, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1998-99.
SANDPIPER SP-3
- similar to the Sandpiper SP-1, except features rosewood fingerboard, Fishman pickup, volume/mid contour/three-band EQ, available in Natural finish, mfg. 1998-99.
SANDPIPER SP-4
- similar to the Sandpiper SP-1, except features pau ferro back/sides, rosewood fingerboard, Fishman pickup, volume/mid contour/three-band EQ, available in Blue Sunburst, Natural, or Sunburst finish, mfg. 1998-1999, 2001-02.
SANDPIPER SP STD
- folk style, single rounded cutaway body, solid spruce top, round soundhole, pearl rosette, pearl/ivory body binding, mahogany back/sides/neck, 21-fret rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlay, rosewood bridge with black pins, three-per-side gold tuners, Fishman Sonicore pickup, four-band EQ, phase switch, available in Natural finish, current mfg.
Sandpiper SP STD-T 12-String
- similar to the SP STD except in 12-string configuration and six-per-side tuners, current mfg.
