 ABILENE | | ACOUSTIC | | This company produces a full range of acoustic models, ranging from the classical to dreadnought guitars. Recently there have been resonator and folk guitars added to the line. All guitars have model designations. The first letter (A) stands for Abilene, and the second letter indicates dreadnought (W), classical (C), folk (F), or jumbo (J). The following numbers indicate the size and configuration of the guitar. There may also be numbers following that indicate the finish color and whether it has a satin or a gloss finish. Numbers typically start around 15 and contain many variations. Prices on these guitars are usually very reasonable and new models can typically be purchased for between $50 and $200. | |
